Liz Howe was born in Albany, NY.
Recent teaching stints have included a four year Visiting Assistant Professor of Ceramics at the Rochester Institute of Technology, lecture/demo visits at The University of Montana, Missoula, The University of Northern Colorado, Skidmore College, SUNY New Paltz and a 2010 Artist-in-Residence at the Tainan National University of the Arts Graduate School in Tainan, Taiwan.
Liz lives and works in Saratoga Springs maintaining an active ceramics studio practice and exhibition schedule including recent shows at Pingtong Art Museum, Taiwan, The Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, VA, The New Hampshire Institute of Art, the Saratoga Arts Center Gallery in Saratoga Springs, NY, the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts, San Angelo, TX, the Ceramics Museum of L'Alcora, Spain and the Museu del Fang in Mallorca, Spain.
